One Humanity Rising Against War and Imperialism

As peoples here and worldwide prepare to take action on April 29 and May 1, what is coming to the fore is the growing resistance to U.S. imperialism. President George W. Bush, the chieftain of imperialism, is being denounced far and wide as a war criminal, to be impeached and punished for his crimes. The anger with the crimes against the Iraqi people is increasing and spreading. Everywhere, including among troops in Iraq, the demand is for immediate withdrawal of all U.S. troops. Everywhere, the internationalist spirit of the peoples can be seen in the stand that no ones sons and daughters should die for unjust wars. Together we say not one more Iraqi, not one more Iranian, not one more Afghanistani, not one more Korean, not one more American, No One!

The organizing for the May Day demonstrations, in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, Mexico City and now across Europe, is also bringing to the fore the internationalist unity of the workers in defense of rights. U.S. imperialism is responsible for the horrific impoverishment on a world scale, which forces many immigrants to leave their homelands. It is also responsible for the massive unemployment and attacks on rights inside the country. It is a system that provides profits to the monopolies and that necessarily demands that they be "competitive on the global markets." The demand to serve U.S. monopolies in their competition with rivals worldwide is a demand to support war and aggression. It is a demand to stand against the workers and peoples of other countries. We say NO! We together stand with the peoples of the world against U.S. imperialism.

The plan by the ruling circles to use the issue of who is or is not documented to criminalize and divide all workers also serves the drive to war and fascism. It must be vigorously opposed. Using the process of documentation, the state claims it can decide if someone exists as a person in society or not. In this way, the state establishes the very being, or not, of an individual, using documentation. The entire process is arbitrary, with the state deciding who does and does not get documentation. The people it decides do not get documents basically do not exist as human beings with rights.

The current plans all serve to put in place, using special identification requirements, the ability of the state to refuse documentation to any they decide. With complete impunity, the state can arbitrarily decide who does or does not receive documents. They are giving themselves the "right" to decide who does and does not exist as a human being, in the same way they determined slaves did not exist as human beings. This is the open fascism of the state. We say our right to be needs no documentation!

The actions on May Day stand directly against this tyranny and chauvinism of the U.S. state, demanding that everyone be recognized as a human being with rights. It is a stand uniting everyone against their common enemy, U.S. imperialism. It is this united fighting force that can and is standing up to Bush and the imperialist drive to war and fascism. It is this united organized force that can and is giving rise to another world, where the rights of the peoples are guaranteed.

All of these actions, here and worldwide, stand against imperialism and bring to the fore the necessity to strengthen the fight for the rights of all and in so doing strengthen our stand against imperialism.

Defend the Rights of All!
No to War and Occupation!
No One is Illegal!
Down with U.S. Imperialism!
